Teaching Media Task: 2nd Assignment

Three Optional Media in Teaching

1.      Animation Movie
	“The Lorax” is an animation that tell about a kid falling in love to a girl who eager to plant a tree. The movie is exited by funny conversation from the characters. There also some great songs from popular singer who dubs the characters. This movie is good for listening class. This movie also has a moral value about environment because the main story of this movie is the condition of one time when there is no more trees on earth. And a boy trying hard to find a seed and plant it.
2.      Comics
	Using an appropriate story which is in a form of picture in a paper “Comics” is one media that focus on reading skill. Different from short story which most of it consist of words; comic serve in a picture with a little narration and more conversation and/or text statement (Monolog and Dialog). This case requires student to find the main idea and other terms in reading by imagine the story first. The picture will take the student interest and make them stay focus. The fact that the picture is more interesting than the story (text) is the weakness in using this media. So choosing this media is all base on the material the teacher will transfer.
3.      Text Message Service
	Sending a message and it contains a material or task/test is simple to teach without using paper.  Giving some other important thing is also accessible even not in the classroom process. It is an innovation of the simplest material transfers; and also contains too much disadvantages.

My First Posting: The Description of Me

            Hi, my name is Lalu Khairul Abda’I, some friends call me Abda’i, and some also call me Khairul and some other Elong. I am from Ketangga, a small village in sub district of Suela, East Lombok. I have a black skin, short hair and flat nose. I am not tall nor short, it is about 175 cm may be. In my age now, I am different from common youth who likes playing footsal or go shopping. I like to watch anime and playing game. The war and shooting game are my favorites. The games really fulfill my need of fun. But even I am a gamer; I still keep my existence in society by giving all my best to help other to untie my duty.

            I have a happy small family. My family consist my mother, three boys including me as second son, my older and my younger brother. And we still have our little angel a girl who still five, my youngest sister. The father of my family has already passed away four years ago. The position to lead the family is given to my mother, my older brother and me. But we are still the happiest family ever. And to make them always happy is my all priority because I live my life on this world is for them.

            My dream is to educate people to be a good person. I want to teach and guide them. Being a teacher or lecturer is OK for me. I like the atmosphere when I’m trying to make someone understand, get them know what I’m saying. To achieves that I will study hard and reading a lot. To solve the economic problem I will try to find scholarship that requires high standardization, again I need to study and do discussion more. I have a lot of time before the time come; I am still a fifth semester student. I have already passed my Islamic High School but my journey is still long front there. I will see this posting again when I am become A Success Boy.
